Tiradia creates sustainable vegan leather accessories from natural cork fabric, combining Portuguese artisan heritage with modern design. Co-founded by Joana, whose family has produced cork products for Portuguese wineries since the 1920s, and Amanda, a sustainability and animal-rights advocate, Tiradia brings this eco-friendly material to lifestyle accessories that are both beautiful and responsible.

Every piece is ethically handmade in small batches by skilled Portuguese artisans near the cork forests, keeping production close to the source and supporting the local economy. The cork harvesting process is completely sustainable—bark is manually removed by expert craftsmen using traditional methods passed down through generations, and no trees are ever cut down. After harvest, the trees consume up to five times more carbon from the atmosphere as the bark regenerates, making cork one of nature's most renewable resources.

Tiradia's cork fabric is created by pressing heat-treated cork into blocks, slicing them into thin sheets, coloring with natural vegetable dyes, and bonding to cotton backing—resulting in a durable, water-resistant, cruelty-free material that honors both animals and the environment. Each bag, wallet, and accessory proves that sustainable style doesn't require compromise.
